    What I usually do is to “start from scratch”. This is how I make my bed;
    1. Pull all of the covers to the floor ( leaving those that are tucked under the mattress alone,
    2. I smooth the bottom sheet so there aren’t any wrinkles.
    3. I start with the top sheet and pull that over the bed - make sure it is fairly even on both sides
    4. I then start with each blanket and pull it up the the top of the bed ( where your head is) and smooth each blanket out and make sure that it is fairly even.
    5. The final step is to pull the comforter up. I have pillows that I need to put on the bed. Fold down the top of the comforter and then lay the pillows down. Simply finish by straightening out the comforter and putting on the decorative pillows or your stuffed animals or whatever.

    If you are still not sure of what I am talking about - perhaps a friends mom will be willing to teach you how to make a bed neatly. I was taught how to do hospital corners. They tend to make the bed look neater.
    I hope that I have been of some help and that you understand what I am trying to tell you. It is so much easier to show someone in person than to write down directions.
    Good luck - once you learn how it is fairly easy. it just takes practice.
